Ergo Proxy Anime Review

No Spoilers Here

Ergo Proxy Vincent an Re-l Cover Poses
Suitable for 18 and under.
Initial Impressions: Initially Ergo Proxy seemed like a rather dark Anime and it certainly did not disappoint by staying a dark Anime all the way through to the end.  Ergo Proxy takes itself very seriously and that is made apparently obvious from the beginning as death and violence seem to stalk the main characters wherever they go.  Do not be fooled by the initial violence though as this Anime has a depth that sets it apart from its counterparts that will leave any Sci-Fi mystery fan glued to their seat and wondering about what it really means to be alive.

Stein's Gate Visual Novel Review

 No Spoilers Here

Steins;Gate Cover Art

Suitable for 18 and under.
In honor of the recent release I decided I might as well create a review for anyone that is interested in reading this really good visual novel.  This is actually one of the few visual novels I have read though that has a fairly good anime to represent it so if you’re coming from that perspective no worries, although the novel is still superior in my opinion.
Initial Impressions: Initially Stein’s Gate actually seemed like it might be a rather light hearted endeavor.  Very quickly though that all changed with the events in the prologue taking a decidedly darker turn and Okabe and his friends being thrown into a mystery that defies the concept of time itself.  Stein’s Gate is definitely not for the faint of heart, although I’m sure you’ll manage, and is an emotional rollercoaster ride that bridges the gap between past, present, and future.

Umineko Episode 4 Personal Review

MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD!!!  DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETELY READ ALL OF THE FIRST 4 EPISODES OF UMINEKO!!!  YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!  IF YOU READ PAST THIS POINT AND YOU HAVE NOT READ THROUGH UMINEKO PROPERLY YOU ONLY HAVE YOURSELF TO BLAME!!!

What follows is what I experienced as I read through episode 4 of Umineko.  While I still plan to make a review about the entire Umineko series combined at a later date, I felt that episode 4 deserved some special attention as it is my favorite up to this point.  So with that said here we go once again on the crazy ride that is my thinking process.  For a little extra assistance in this here is a link to my points of interest article if you want to see how I came up with some of my conclusions: Umineko Points of Interest
